Ed Parker (1948-2011)

Edward Lee Parker, Jr., 68, died Saturday, June 25, 2011. Born in LaGrange, GA he was the son of the late Edward Lee and Mary Davison Parker. He was a member of the 1752 Club and SC & GA. He was a member of Jefferson Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are his wife Susan Gregory Parker of Jefferson, SC, son, Lee Parker of Atlanta, GA, daughter, Beth Parker of Jefferson, SC, a grandchild, Sean Parker of Jefferson, SC, two sisters, Barbara Parker of Tucker, GA and Carol (Ed) Whitehead of Mebane, NC.

 He was preceded in death by his parents listed above and a son Jackson Gregory Parker.

The family will receive friends Sunday, June 26, 2011 at the home in the afternoon and evening.  

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, June 27, 2011 at Jefferson Presbyterian Church, Jefferson, SC. Burial will be in the Jefferson Cemetery.
